Hello all

And Welcome to Animefanlife.com Community Forums.
If this is your first time here we ask that you please read the rules in all sticky topics Including this one.

Our moderators each moderate in a few forums and they reserve the right to add to these rules in their sections but not take away from them.

Here are our forum wide guidelines everyone is expected to follow. These apply to anyone member of any kind, mod, super mods and admins of any kind.

1.No Spam: This includes but is not limited to the following
a.Double Posting/muti posting/crossposting
b.Posting in the wrong forum(s)
c.Advertising: With the exceptions of one forum and your signature.
d.Random off topic replays
2.Illegal Actions: Doing anything illegal activities such as posting links to streaming/downloading sites are strictly prohibited here. Doing so will result in a emendate infraction, no questions asked.
3.Cursing/swearing In Posts: This is allowed however there are guidelines. They include but are not limited to.
a.Using such words as direct person attacks twords other members or mods.
b.In a trolling or flaming way.
Examples: Trolling: Your fan fic is so ****ty you should go and cut yourself. Flaming: You f**king ass hole.

c.Examples of appropriate ways to swear if you must:
That siggy is so frickin sweet
Damn you are good at making avatars bro.
These are okay to use.

d.Though using such words is not prohibited saying ****, F**k are not exactly looked upon as recommended to use often.
4.Signatures & Avatars
a.While we all like using cool hue images we spent hours of our lifes making a avatar is not like a life’s work just a simple graphic that you like that other members can see when you post. In a way it kinda becomes your face on the internet if you will. It is often the first thing someone looks at when looking at a post by someone. These images on this forum are no bigger then 150x150 No Larger. A common size is more 100x100 but this gives people a bit more thought to their avatar choice.
b.What is NOT allowed regarding avatars./Signitures.
I.No porn
II.No sexual things of any kind.
III.No profanity
Remember these rules apply to both sigs and avatars.



c.Signature specific Rules
d.Image size max 600x400 This is honestly pushing it in my opinion but I know how much of you like big flashy sigs so I plan to grant your wish on this forum .^_^ However here are the guidelines
I.The smaller the image the more you can have in your sig. So for example if I have a sig that is 600x400 I have reached the limit of size so there for adding another imae is just a pear distraction to other members trying to read what I have posted as well as other posts in the thread.
II.So with that said it is a simple math problem from here so if I have 2 images in my sig I can have them both at 300x200 and so on down the math latter as far as division goes.
III.Reasons for these rules. You may not know this or think it to be true but many people still use Dial-Up connections to enjoy our forums as well as the rest of the internet. So the less there is to load page aka thread/ post etc the faster it will be for them and everyone else using our forum.
5.Credit/owners and other posting guideline
a.If you’re going to post a thread in the fan art or fan fiction forums for example you can post fan fics/art that you find elseware but, if you fail to credit the true owner in your post you are comiting art theft. In order to prevent such junk please credit the owners of these and other things.
b.The same as avatars and sigs no porn, sexual, or profanity.
c.There are some exceptions however nudity is in fact a tool for artists. We understand this and allow it however, no privites of any kind except breasts NO LOWER PIVITES!.
6.No Flaming/Trolling etc. This includes but is not limited to
a.Flaming Examples
I.Member A. “Sut the hell up Member B"
II.Member B. “ NO you shut up you asshole"
b.Trolling Examples:
I.Member A. “ Your poem is so dam ****y you might just wanna kill yourself cause it sucks so damn much."
II.Member B. “But.. but why did you say that I spent a lot of time on that.”
c.These are prime examples of two members who don’t know how to follow rules. If you notice member B. in the trolling example is quite upset and unlikely to return or say bad things about our forum. For such a violation by member A he would get a infraction without question. In the flame example both members A and B are at risk for an infraction or at least a warning.
7.No Backseat Moding by nonstaff members:
a.There is a reason we have picked our staff and those people are the ones that enforce the rules. Doing this will not result in a infraction but could lead to one is continued. The likely-hood of anything besides a friendly reminder via pm by either the mod of the forum in which the post was made or any of the admins of course. What you can expect the mods to do if they see someone doing this.
I.Edit/delete the post
II.Pm the user with a friendly reminder
III.If the person continues things might get worse as in. A warning via PM by the forum mod or admin.
1.If it is clear the member is that going to listen an infraction will be given but no a large one as this is not a large offence.
8.Be respectful when addressing other members and Staff: Any place is better when everyone gets along right, so please be nice and respectful to everyone on the forum.
